Job Opportunity: Chef Manager at Aramark UK

Aramark UK is currently recruiting an experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Coleg Cambria Deeside 6th Form College. You will oversee daily operations, prepare meals, delegate tasks, and lead your team to success.

We aim to support a healthy work-life balance while working in hospitality. Aramark provides top-tier contract catering services across the UK, including sectors like Defence, Judicial, private industry, and Education. What we offer:

• Full-time position, 37 hours/week, mainly Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends, shifts between 7:30 and 16:00, leaving evenings free.
• Salary: £28,000 per year

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:

• Prepare hot and cold food for deli grab & go and hot counters for breakfast and lunch.
• Organize and coordinate hospitality services, lead the team, and ensure tasks are completed according to recipes and brand standards.
• Manage stock flow, rotation, ordering, stock takes, and back-office paperwork.
• Handle customer complaints as needed.
• Train and coach team members to meet procedures and standards.

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

• Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work.
• Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks.
• Relevant culinary qualification and experience, preferably in a school environment.
• Knowledge of financial processes, P&L, and stocktaking.
