Integrated Airspace-protection Systems (IAS), primarily within the defence market but also in space, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team. You will support day-to-day responsibilities such as month-end, management accounts, monthly journals, TM1 updates, invoicing, debt chasing, balance sheet reconciliations, and some project accounting.
You will also help prepare monthly review meetings with key stakeholders.
You should have a strong interest in a finance career and be studying towards related qualifications such as AAT, CIMA, or ACCA. Formal qualifications are not mandatory but preferred, along with A Levels in Maths or Finance-related subjects. Proficiency in MS Excel and experience in financial or manufacturing environments are essential. Knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle, TM1, or Magnitude would be advantageous. You should be a team player with a desire to learn and grow.
