Team overview

We integrate GroupM media, Nexus capabilities, creative, AI, marketing science, and Choreograph platforms to develop market-leading solutions. Our mission is to deliver an integrated GroupM where every ad experience works harder for clients, emphasizing cross-channel solutions that connect media to deliver measurable business impact.

Within Solutions Development, there are two teams serving UK and Pan Regional markets:

  1. Solutions Integration (SI): Technically scopes, integrates, and deploys platforms, capabilities, and technologies for cross-channel scale.
  2. Channel Development (CD): Designs and develops point solutions for clients, configured for cross-channel agility.

Our key focus areas include:

  • Clients: Growing their business, connecting media and audiences at scale, demonstrating effectiveness.
  • Colleagues: Providing simplicity and repeatability amidst technological complexity.
  • Compliance: Ensuring solutions are enhanced with proprietary capabilities and compliant with client contracts.

Role Overview

The Associate Director will lead initiatives to advance media integration and cross-channel innovation for Pan Regional clients, working closely with the UK Solutions Development team and a new Pan Regional group. This role involves strategic leadership in developing solutions across video, audio, display, DOOH, and CTV, requiring programmatic expertise and multi-market understanding.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing best-in-class channel solutions aligned with client needs and market technology.
  • Leading innovation efforts and staying ahead of competitors.
  • Managing compliance, pricing, margins, and global governance.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and growth in billings and net sales.

Requirements / Skills & Experience

  • Experience in ad tech and media supply technologies, with portfolio experience in ad tech, programmatic, or campaign management.
  • Hands-on experience with SSPs and DSPs for modern media architecture.
  • Proven ability to solve multi-market complexities and simplify campaign activations.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with experience in product/solution development and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Curiosity about industry trends and future opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and simplify complex concepts.
  • Experience working with clients to develop media solutions is preferred.
