Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £36,408 (including £2,658 non-concessionary payment)
Flexible working arrangements are available, including full-time, part-time, and compressed hours. Due to the nature of the work, hybrid working may be restricted, with around 20% home working depending on business needs.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you'll work with a close-knit team to defend our organization against various cyber threats, including malware, insider threats, DDoS attacks, and phishing. Your responsibilities include detecting, responding to, and mitigating risks, analyzing alerts, logs, network traffic, and endpoint data using tools like Splunk, and developing detection content. You'll also utilize threat intelligence to proactively enhance security measures and support digital forensics during security incidents.
You should have a passion for IT and cybersecurity, experience with scripting, and knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, with familiarity in Python. An interest in developing skills in AWS and Azure is desirable. Candidates must hold a foundational cybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC) or have at least 6 months of cybersecurity experience. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Starting salary: £36,408 plus benefits such as 25-30 days annual leave, public holidays, performance recognition, interest-free season ticket loan, pension scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, on-site facilities, and paid parental leave.
