Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4)United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working alongside technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical tasks to help build and maintain the nation's vital infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
  • Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion

Ideal candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning, especially those with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
