This permanent, term-time only role offers a salary of up to £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. The position is part of a pioneering trial of the 4-Day Working Week, emphasizing work/life balance.

About the Role

As Headteacher, you will focus on delivering high-quality education, a broad curriculum, and positive outcomes for pupils with special educational needs. You will embody the school's ethos of 'Thinking and Learning Differently', fostering an inclusive environment that meets diverse needs and promotes community engagement.

Candidate Profile

We seek experienced SEND professionals with leadership experience in SEN settings, excellent communication skills, and a creative approach to performance improvement. The ideal candidate will be inspirational, motivated, and passionate about transforming lives through education.

Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with pupils with additional learning and communication difficulties
  • Experience as a Head or Deputy Head in a SEN school
  • Knowledge of Ofsted procedures and school improvement strategies
  • Effective budget management skills
  • Relevant degree and teaching qualification
