Manufacturing Operations Manager (BBBH14915) Stoke-on-Trent, England

Salary: GBP48000 - GBP48000 per annum + Bonus, exc benefits

Our client is a market-leading manufacturer of products and solutions utilized across a wide range of industries. Applicants from various manufacturing backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The Factory Operations Manager position is a senior-level role, responsible for operations and manufacturing at one of their factories near Stoke-on-Trent.

Applicants should have experience in improving manufacturing operations, coaching, and mentoring production teams. A strong background in Health and Safety, Continuous Improvement, and lean manufacturing techniques is essential.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to achieve World Class standards across multiple production lines
2. Promote lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, VSM, TPM, etc.
3. Manage and mentor managers and teams to solve problems and develop their careers
4. Introduce processes and procedures to enhance manufacturing output and support EBITDA objectives over the next three years
5. Lead the development of an agile, ambitious manufacturing function to enable growth and improved business performance

Essential qualifications & experience:

• Senior-level experience such as Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager, etc.
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and problem-solving in manufacturing environments
• Ability to work closely with production teams and lead from the front
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification in Health and Safety
• Degree qualification or equivalent experience
