Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4)United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts dedicated to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Early shifts 6am-6pm and Late shifts 12pm-12am.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates

Who you are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning, joining an experienced team. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is beneficial.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts
