Job description

Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our Planning team as a Planning Co-ordinator, within the Supply Chain department at Innospec.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our global operations, helping to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities across a portfolio of assets in the Performance Chemicals business.

Supply Chain is central to how we deliver excellent customer service and respond quickly to change — setting us apart in a competitive global market.

Role Responsibilities

As a Supply Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply planning process — from production scheduling to raw material procurement and inventory management. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that stock levels are maintained, production continues smoothly, and customer orders are fulfilled on time. This role plays a critical part in balancing supply and demand across global and regional operations. The role will include:

  • Plan and manage production to meet customer demand, optimising batch sizes and raw material use.
  • Replenish raw materials and finished goods across European sites.
  • Liaise with the Customer Service team to resolve supply issues and provide solutions.
  • Monitor stock levels, ensuring safety stock targets and aged/damaged inventory are effectively managed.
  • Support broader planning processes through data analysis and reporting.
  • Assist the Planning Manager with ongoing improvement initiatives.

Role Requirements:

  • Strong communicator with good analytical and Excel skills
  • Eager to learn and grow within a global business
  • Proactive in problem-solving and solution-finding
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or within a team
  • Basic knowledge of supply/demand planning or S&OP is desirable

If you’re enthusiastic about supply chain operations and ready to take the next step in your planning career, we would love to hear from you.
