We are seeking Clinical Fellows at ST3 level for our Paediatric Department at Basildon, to join our inclusive and well-led team on a full-time, permanent basis. Responsibilities include working alongside consultants, training with junior doctors, and supporting your MRCPCH exam preparations. The role involves managing patients across various paediatric settings, including neonatal intensive care, outpatient clinics, and the emergency department, with opportunities for teaching, presentations, audits, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Person specification

Qualifications:

• Guidance Score MBBS or equivalent
• GMC registration
• APLS or EPLS
• NLS
• Success in 2 of 3 MRCPCH papers within the last 7 years

Experience:

• 6-12 months NHS experience at ST1-3 level
• At least 12 months in Paediatrics, including 6 months in Neonatology and 6 months in General Paediatrics

Communication skills:

• Effective written and spoken English
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• IT skills
