The post holder will support the trained nurse and other healthcare professionals in the delivery of the highest standard of patient-focused care.
To assist the registered nurse in carrying out direct nursing care.
To undertake delegated duties related to patient care that contribute to the ongoing support of patients, including escorting patients to various destinations, occasionally using wheelchairs.
Perform patient observations: temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, blood glucose, and urinalysis following training.
Report observations and any perceived changes in the patient’s condition to the nurse in charge.
Accurately document information related to patient care as instructed by the nurse in charge.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
