Supply Chain Manager – Catering Equipment Manufacturer – £70K + Benefits - North West / York / Huddersfield

My client is a reputable Food & Beverage business located in the North. They are known for excellent service, product delivery, and quality within the industry.

They are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the entire supply chain function of their UK operations, including stock management, inventory control, procurement, warehouse, and logistics.

This role offers a great opportunity for a skilled Supply Chain Manager to join a dynamic business with genuine career progression prospects.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing and managing the pricing strategy for parts, including monthly updates.
• Sourcing and managing supply chain activities across all products.
• Managing stock levels, monitoring slow-moving and obsolete stock, and ensuring adequate stock levels for efficient service.
• Handling van stock processes, including issuing starter stocks, stock transfers, and returns upon employee departure.
• Collaborating with IT to produce monthly reports on stock availability and delivery performance.
• Documenting all processes with standard operating procedures and flowcharts.
• Continuously improving team processes by eliminating unnecessary steps and integrating automation where possible.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Ability to work strategically and hands-on.
• IT proficiency, especially with ERP and service systems.
• Strong data analysis skills to inform decision-making.
• Health and Safety experience, preferably IOSH qualified.
• Commercial awareness with experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
