Job description

Care Assistant Role

£12.60 – £13.10 per hour (£18.90 on Bank Holidays) plus travel time and mileage.

We are a local family-owned business that cares about caring. Our aim is to enable people to stay in their own homes for as long as possible.

We are looking for staff (no experience needed) to meet the needs of our service users with dignity and promote their independence. Daily tasks may include:

  • Assisting with getting up and going to bed
  • Assisting with bathing/showering
  • Helping with personal care needs
  • Preparing food and drinks
  • Assisting with medication
  • Providing companionship calls
  • Domestic tasks

We currently have full-time, part-time, evening, and weekend roles available. We offer flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.

This role also makes you eligible for a Blue Light Card, which provides discounts and rewards across various shops and businesses.

Requirements:
  • You must have a current driving license and your own transport, as travel is involved.
  • No previous experience is required, as we provide full induction training.
  • We can enroll you in a funded QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, along with ongoing training to enhance your skills.
  • You will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check and register with Social Care Wales.
