Swansea Bay University Health Board is currently recruiting HCSWs to join our team at Morriston Hospital.

Our hospitals operate 24/7, so our HCSWs work various shift patterns to ensure round-the-clock care. Typical shifts include long days from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, which means longer shifts but fewer days worked each week. After a few weeks, night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am are also included. Please only apply if you are willing to work these shifts and have no restrictions on your availability.
All applicants will undergo a shortlisting process. If shortlisted, you will be invited to a 'Meet and Greet' with our Matrons and ward managers, where you can see potential wards, ask questions, and learn more about the role. Following this, you will be invited for an interview.
The Nursing Health Care Support Worker works as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care to patients, with support and supervision from a registered healthcare professional. Responsibilities include undertaking personal care activities as delegated, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring proper storage of supplies, all in line with HEIW All Wales Guidelines and Trust values.
