Job description

Main purpose of the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our East Midlands region. The Sales Manager will manage and develop the sales team in their area, ensuring that the Regional Sales targets are achieved and all company sales procedures are followed. They will also ensure that regional sales targets and budgets are met.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of advertising, agreeing formats and strategies for their sites. They will liaise regularly with Marketing/PR to maximize all sales opportunities, undertake market research reports, and ensure advertising and marketing costs are controlled and budgets adhered to.

They will lead and motivate a team of Sales Executives, developing their skills and recruiting new talent as needed.

Skills, knowledge & experience

We are looking for a Sales Manager with previous experience in a similar role, who embodies our Keepmoat values. The ideal candidate will be creative, resilient, and experienced in managing a sales team using their initiative and negotiation skills. They will be collaborative, skilled in relationship building and stakeholder engagement, capable of developing relationships at all levels, including with operational leadership. They will take a straightforward approach, leading by example, working hands-on, and supporting and mentoring their team. A passion for the housebuilding industry and the Keepmoat brand is essential, along with a strong customer and team focus. The candidate should be motivated and enthusiastic about achieving strong sales figures in their area.
