About The Role

Position: Support Worker/Carers

Location: Falkirk - FK1 & FK5

Hours: Full-time and Part-time

Job type: Permanent, variable hourly roles available

• Be adaptable and flexible, with excellent communication skills, and able to work as part of a team.
• Experience with challenging behavior and/or learning disabilities is preferred, but all training will be provided.
• This role is based in a rural area outside Slamannan; a driver’s license and access to a vehicle would be advantageous.

You will be part of a team that helps shape and develop this service from the outset.

You will be supported by a management team including a Team Leader, Scheme Manager, and Registered Manager, all committed to creating a supportive environment where your well-being is a priority, as is that of the people we support.

The role

• Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower individuals to achieve their goals, respecting their individuality and supporting their decision-making.
• Promote health, well-being, and cultural and spiritual beliefs in an inclusive manner.
• Facilitate social, educational, or work activities, including visiting family and friends, walks, shopping, and recreational activities.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including shopping, domestic tasks, and personal care as needed.
• Complete various records and documentation related to your support activities.
