Role: Electrician REF 85174

Contract Length: 12 months

Location: Cumbria

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate to Intermediary: £28.58 per hour

Security Clearance: BPSS

Spinwell is recruiting for an Electrician for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

Responsibilities of the Electrician

• Maintain and improve plant performance in line with production demands and regulatory/statutory requirements in a safe and timely manner.
• Resolve problems associated with plant breakdowns and plant throughput.
• Support site engineers in implementing plant improvements and modifications.
• Proactively improve plant availability through continuous equipment monitoring, repair, and maintenance.
• Act as a Nominated Person (Electrical), NP (e), to provide equipment isolations.
• Support the client’s safety culture proactively.

Skills and Experience of the Electrician

• Completion of a recognised electrical apprenticeship, either time served or NVQ3.
• BS7671 IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Capable of obtaining Nominated Person (Electrical) status.
• Demonstrate good working practices within health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a professional attitude, committed to achieving company values and goals.
• Effective communication with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work in controlled areas using protective clothing (PVC and Respirator).
• Proven plant maintenance experience within electrical and instrumentation fields is advantageous.
