Job Description:

Working Schedule:

Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Major Job Functions

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment/lighting systems.
• Inspect and test electrical components such as transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear.
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals to complete projects.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools; terminate power/control/monitoring wiring.

Knowledge

Deep understanding and extensive experience in electrical systems.

Accountability

Work on industrial and commercial projects (not domestic), adhering to BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electric codes, and NICEIC requirements.

Education and Experience

• CSCS Electricians grade/JIB card
• NVQ Level 3
• Test & inspection 2394/2395 (or 2391)
• Full UK driving license
• Fire alarm installation experience
• Containment installation experience (ladder, tray, basket, galvanised conduit)
• Desirable: Confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, first aid, CompEx, SSSTS qualifications
