Engage Talent Partners are working exclusively with our award-winning client, to source a Quality Advisor based in Aberdeen.
The company manaufacture and provide specialist equipment and services for the oil and gas, renewables and defence sectors on a global scale and have enjoyed an impressive period of growth in recent years.
They seek an experienced quality assurance advisor who has particular experience in non conformance investigations as well as internal audits and client audits.
Key responsibilities
- Support the evaluation and review of client quality requirements during pre qualification/ tender activities ensuring they are responded to in a timely manner.
- Support the periodic review of Project Quality Plans and/or Inspection & Test Plan templates and provide feedback to the Projects department.
- Identify, develop, and execute programmes aimed at promoting sustained Quality performance within the business.
- Provide guidance, support and training on Quality activities to internal and external stakeholders as applicable.
- Support the continued development and improvement of the quality management system and supporting applications, ensuring compliance with applicable management system requirements e.g., ISO 9001, API Q1.
- Ensure changes to Quality management systems and supporting applications are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide information, instruction and training in the quality management systems and applications.
- Coordinate the evaluation and review of process risk and identify appropriate controls to reduce the likelihood of potential process failure occurring that may adversely affect the business e.g., Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA).
- Ensure NCRs are investigated in a timely manner, ensuring root cause and corrective action is identified, agreed and implemented in a timely manner to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure that product identification and traceability is maintained to support Client/Project requirements.
- Ensure monitoring and measurement devices are calibrated and maintained and documented information is retained.
- Ensure damaged/faulty monitoring and measurement devices are segregated from unintended use and the repair and recalibration or destruction is approved.
- Conduct and report internal audits to verify compliance with quality management system and/or client (project) requirements.
- Provide information, instruction and training to support the execution of audit programmes including internal and/or third-party audits.
- Identify and share audit outcomes, ensuring audit findings are agreed and communicated in a timely manner.
- Identify improvements to audit programmes based on applicable business risks and opportunities.
- Support third-party audits including client and/or certification audits.
- Support the monitoring, measurement, analysis and review of quality management system performance, identifying recommendations for improvement.
- Support the communication and reporting of quality performance internally and externally, including client and project reporting requirements.
- Participate in Project Lessons Learned reviews ensuring lessons are identified, shared, communicated, and learned.
Candidates should have relevant experience in a quality assurance role, an Internal Auditor qualification, with experience of internal & external audit activities as well as experience in maintaining business management systems and leading root cause investigations.
The salary range for this role is £45k to £57k per annum. You will also receive an attractive benefits package which includes a bonus scheme, discounts and an employee assistance programme.
