Finance Business Partner - Hiring Now!

Permanent, full time.

Lanpro is a market-leading and award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in Planning, Design and the Environment. Our project portfolio is diverse, representing projects at all scales across a variety of sectors including residential, historic sites and estates, renewable energy, and mixed-use commercial developments.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for you to join our driven and collaborative Finance function as a key partner to our Business Units. This role is suitable for self-motivated, dynamic, analytical, and commercially astute individuals.

The ideal candidate will be highly driven, eager to develop their career and enhance the capabilities of our finance team. They will work closely with the wider finance team and collaborate strongly with operational departments, providing effective support to the financial aspects of projects.

The role offers the opportunity to provide guidance and support to all levels of the department, from Consultants to Board members, building relationships at different levels. This partnership will deliver high-quality service, enabling the company to achieve its vision and targets.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Be a reliable and efficient source of information and resolution for the operational team;
  • Ensure data accuracy and up-to-date recording of all project information;
  • Conduct regular reviews with the operational team to identify and resolve issues;
  • Produce monthly sales invoices to maximise revenue;
  • Resolve client queries promptly;
  • Input and produce supplementary reports for monthly management accounts.
Essential Experience
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar role;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for handling high volumes of data;
  • Personal drive to deliver accurate and detailed results within deadlines;
  • Good communication skills for building relationships at all levels of the business;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel;
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers.
Desirable Experience
  • Deltek Vantagepoint experience (or other Deltek products);
  • Xero experience;
  • Background in professional services;
  • Experience working in a private consultancy with multidisciplinary skill sets.
