Head Chef – Up to £70,000 – Notting Hill, London

We are seeking a visionary Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a bold, boundary-pushing restaurant located in the heart of Notting Hill. Celebrated for its theatrical open kitchen, counter dining, and evocative dishes inspired by the rich flavours of the North African coastline and wider Mediterranean, this restaurant has become a destination in its own right.

This is not your typical Head Chef opportunity.

The concept centres around fire, smoke, spice, and storytelling offering a unique and immersive dining experience that captures the energy and soul of the Levant. Every plate is a conversation. Every service is a performance. And now, we're looking for a Head Chef who is ready to take centre stage.

About the Role:

You’ll take full ownership of the kitchen operation, leading a passionate brigade in crafting exceptional dishes cooked over flame, prepared with finesse, and rooted in authenticity. You’ll be responsible for menu development, daily service, team leadership, cost management, supplier relationships, and delivering an experience that’s as consistent as it is unforgettable.

What We're Looking For:

• A creative and confident Head Chef with experience in live-fire cooking or open kitchen formats
• Deep respect for Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, with a drive to explore and innovate within that space
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and retain high-performing teams
• Strong grasp of financials, costings, supplier management, and operational efficiency
• Calm under pressure, focused on excellence, and obsessed with consistency
