The Partnerships team at Rethink Mental Illness and Mental Health UK is recruiting a New Partnerships Manager to join our passionate colleagues and support our vision to create ambitious, purpose-led partnerships that raise vital funds and deliver transformational impact for people experiencing mental health challenges.
About the role
With a recently launched new Partnerships strategy, you’ll work closely with our New Partnerships Lead and the team to drive new business activity. You’ll play a key role in unlocking new income opportunities and creating your own pipeline to secure mid and high-value partnerships, demonstrating perseverance, resilience, and innovation.
About you
With experience in charitable corporate partnerships or relevant transferable experience, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing significant five or six-figure multi-faceted partnerships across different activities and income mechanisms.
About the Fundraising department
The Fundraising department is a dynamic team committed to raising money for mental health initiatives. Our income streams include Events, Community, Individual Giving, Legacies, In-Memoriam, Philanthropy, Trusts and Grants, and Partnerships.
The Partnerships team has a strong record of delivering notable partnerships, such as our multi-year Lloyds Banking Group partnership which raised £16m, and others with Bank of America, Dune, and more.
Sitting within the External Affairs directorate, we work across both Mental Health UK and Rethink Mental Illness, harnessing the collective power of both organizations to support our work.
