Are you a Semi-Senior Accountant/ Assistant Accountant looking to work for an employee-focused accountancy practice in Beverley? Would you like to join a firm where honesty and integrity are central to their values, and that is a successful, independent, and forward-thinking business?

We are pleased to collaborate with a well-established accountancy firm renowned across the East Yorkshire region, currently seeking a new team member due to ongoing growth. They are open to candidates seeking full-time or part-time roles.

What the Semi Senior Accountant role involves

1. Managing a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, independently.
2. Regularly meeting clients face-to-face or via video calls to foster long-term relationships.
3. Preparing unincorporated and company accounts for various clients across different sectors.
4. Filing VAT returns, bookkeeping, and completing basic tax returns.

Skills required

1. Experience with finance software such as Xero or QuickBooks.
2. Experience working within an accountancy practice.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
5. Qualified by experience, or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, or AAT).
