Job description

Top Rotherham based Accountancy practice are currently seeking an experienced Semi Senior to join the Accounts and Audit team.

The Accounts Semi Senior will be required to carry out the VAT, production of Management accounts and also producing yearly accounts all while sticking to relevant deadlines and providing a great all-around service.

The Semi Senior Accountant will have a few years' experience within practice using Xero whilst also having a good knowledge of producing year end and management Accounts whilst also having some experience assisting with client queries.

Responsibilities:
  • Able to manage and take responsibility for own portfolio of clients
  • Preparation of complex company financial statements
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Preparation of personal tax returns
  • Preparation of partnership accounts and returns
  • Review and submit quarterly VAT returns
Minimum Requirements:
  • You must have at least 3 years working in an accountancy practice environment.
  • Sage 50 & QuickBooks, Iris, Sage Business Cloud experience is desirable
  • Experience of Xero is essential.
  • Studying ACCA/ACA or recent completion
