Pulse Nursing offers a variety of day shifts for experienced Community Nurses in Leicester. Our Community Nurses provide care to clients with diverse needs within their home environments across the community.

Community Nurses help individuals in Calderdale and Huddersfield lead happy, healthy lives. They reduce pressure on NHS hospitals by caring for patients at home, making this a rewarding role focused on community well-being.

Day shifts available from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Sunday

Community Nurse Responsibilities include:

• Providing basic care such as checking temperature, blood pressure, and breathing
• Changing catheters as required
• Diabetes care
• Ensuring documentation compliance
• Wound management and symptom control
• Visiting clients to meet their needs promptly

Community Nurse Role Requirements:

• Registered nurse with a current NMC pin
• At least 6 months NHS experience within the last 2 years
• Valid driving license and own car
• Meet our Framework Compliance requirements (guidance provided)
• Opportunities to upskill for community nursing roles; experience in A&E, ITU, medical, or surgical units is welcome for those seeking a change
