There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 reflecting the incorporation of the top-up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum). This will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled, knowledgeable Pharmacist to join the ABUHB team! We are looking for an experienced pharmacist with proven delivery of the technical service agenda to join our team as the lead QA/QC Pharmacist across the organisation.
You will be responsible for the QA/QC service, managing the appropriate technical staff, and acting as the named Pharmacist on the Manufacturing License (Specials) issued by the MHRA.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients through ensuring the quality assurance of all pharmaceutical products manufactured and prepared within the HB, driving improvements in technical services, and ensuring the HB has safe processes in place and is compliant with all relevant safety guidance.
The postholder will be supported by our excellent Technical Services Aseptic/QC team comprising Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacy Assistants.
