Production Foreman

Are you a Production Foreman looking for a new role? Are you confident in organising and leading the shop floor and driving best practices? Are you seeking a position in a company that is developing, investing, and aiming for growth?

Kingscroft has been asked to recruit a Production Foreman for a specialist manufacturing business based in Telford. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Production Manager, Supervisor, or Production Foreman and be confident in controlling and driving shop floor production. You should be experienced in leading daily production goals and have a focus on long-term shop floor improvements.

Main duties/Tasks

1. Drive health and safety standards across the shop floor.
2. Implement and continuously improve 6S principles to achieve exceptional standards.
3. Chair production and relevant meetings.
4. Contribute to and lead the development of the company's corporate strategy within the production area.
5. Manage the production function to ensure that finished goods meet quality standards, are available to customers on time (OTIF), and are produced within budget.
6. Develop and support the team, especially team leaders, providing training and one-on-one guidance as needed.
7. Maintain effective relationships with other managers to ensure coordination of all company activities supporting corporate objectives.
8. Support customer service by understanding and fulfilling customer requirements.
9. Hire, train, and evaluate workers.
