Job summary

Lowerhouses CE Primary School is advertising a fixed term Educational Teaching Assistant to support a child in Key Stage 1. The role runs 17.75 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 3.15pm, until 31 August 2027. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required.

We are advertising for a fixed term Educational Teaching Assistant, to join us as soon as possible. This job is for 17.75 hours, supporting a child in Key Stage 1. This appointment is until 31/8/2027 in the first instance. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 11.30am - 3.15pm.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated person with a commitment to helping children reach their full potential. The successful candidate must have a firm but fair approach to working with children and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of working with children with SEND is desirable as is working in a school environment. It is important that they have the ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with the children, staff and parents.
