A leading educational organization is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants to work in a local SEN school in Cardiff. The role involves supporting pupils with ASD and behavioural needs, making it essential for candidates to have relevant experience. Successful candidates will help ensure that pupils are engaged and participating in their learning activities, as well as assist in personal care when necessary. This temporary role may have the potential for permanence.

We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable teaching assistants to join teaching personnel to work in a local SEN school. The school caters for pupils from age 7-19 with ASD and behavioural needs so experience personally or professionally would give you a great head start!
We are mainly looking for staff to join and are comfortable in the secondary area of the school, so being comfortable with that age group would be essential. You could either be allocated a small group or a 1-to-1 pupil, so you need to be comfortable working different group sizes and comfortable building a rapport with them.
Due to the needs of the pupils the school love having staff who can commit to long-term vacancies which helps the pupils gain familiarity and routine with the teachers they have.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
