Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils in primary schools across Sutton, Epsom and surrounding areas. You will work one-to-one and in small groups to help with learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing, while gaining hands-on experience in education and child development.

Ideal candidates hold a Psychology degree, are patient, empathetic and curious about child development.

Qualifications

• A Psychology graduate or holds a related degree.
• Passionate about supporting children and young people.
• Patient, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent.
• Curious about child development, learning, and behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small group interventions.
• Work with children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs.
• Help pupils develop confidence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours.
• Support emotional regulation and wellbeing within the classroom.
• Assist teachers in creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
• Becoming a positive role model for children who need encouragement and support.
