Together Trust in Cheadle, Stockport, is seeking a committed Practitioner Psychologist to provide psychological assessments for pupils across Trust settings and external schools. The role is hybrid, combining home, school, and office work as required.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to promote emotional wellbeing, learning and development, delivering high-quality assessments and specialist reports while supporting staff training and MDT processes.

Formación

• A Doctorate in Educational or Clinical Psychology and HCPC registration are required.
• Significant experience working directly with children or young people with complex needs, learning disabilities, or Autism Spectrum Conditions & challenging behaviours.
• Experience in providing trainings and facilitating an MDT meeting, as well as clinical supervision and ability to reflect practice.
• Understanding of Ofsted and its implications for educational psychology practice.

Responsabilidades

• Provide psychological assessment for pupils attending Together Trust educational settings and external schools.
• Offer consultation, guidance and support to school staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Undertake highly specialist psychological assessments and needs analyses to ensure needs are captured and supported.
• Contribute to a Trust-wide clinical MDT approach, in-house clinical supervision and learning spaces.
• Support development and supervision of Assistant Psychologists and training placements for Education Psychologists in training.
• Deliver trainings and contribute to wellbeing initiatives across the organisation, including support from Mental Health First Aiders and yoga sessions.
