Somerset Council's Educational Psychology Service is recruiting Educational Psychologists who want opportunities to influence practice, develop specialist interests and contribute to services that improve outcomes for children, young people and families.

Whether you're an experienced EP, newly qualified, or approaching qualification, Somerset offers the opportunity to build specialist expertise whilst working within one of the largest Educational Psychology communities in the South West.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Educational Psychologists or trainee status as per Somerset Council recruitment
• Second Year Trainee Educational Psychologists in September 2027 (subject to vacancies)
• Third Year Trainee Educational Psychologists qualifying in Summer 2026/27

• Early intervention and preventative work
• Traded services with schools
• Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments
• Mental Health Support Teams and inclusion initiatives
• Project work and service development
• Critical incident support
