Job summary

Shire Healthcare is recruiting an Educational Psychologist to work across the West Yorkshire area. You will assess and support children and young people aged 5–25 with SEMH, neurodiversity and SEND, conducting psychological and educational assessments, consultation and intervention.

You will collaborate with families, education and residential teams, contributing to EHCPs/EHCNAs, staff training and service development within an established multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Educational Psychologist.
• Post-qualification experience of 2–5 years.
• Experience with SEMH, neurodiversity and SEND.
• Experience with EHCPs/EHCNAs and multidisciplinary working.
• Experience within educational settings; residential experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological and educational assessments, consultation and intervention.
• Work with children and young people aged 5–25 with SEMH, neurodiversity and SEND.
• Collaborate with families, education and residential teams.
