Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council's Educational Psychology Service is seeking an experienced Specialist Educational Psychologist (SEMH) to join our Experts at Hand programme. This role blends specialist psychology with strategic leadership to promote wellbeing, attendance, inclusion and positive outcomes across schools and services.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist or awaiting registration.
• Strong consultation and partnership-working skills.
• Ability to apply psychology at individual, group and organisational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of SEMH practice across schools and services.
• Provide specialist consultation and intervention for children with SEMH needs.
• Collaborate with schools, Assistant Educational Psychologists and partners to strengthen inclusion.
• Contribute to strategic SEND developments and county-wide improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong links with Education Psychology Service and partners; participate in supervision and CPD.
