Job summary

London Borough of Merton is expanding its Educational Psychology Service with both permanent and fixed-term vacancies. The service supports SEND reforms and multi-agency work across Speech and Language Therapy, Sensory Service, and OT. A collaborative culture emphasises wellbeing, supervision, and reflective practice.

Appointments will be made at the SCP scale within the grade, with a focus on child- and family-centred psychology in educational settings. Interviews planned for October 2026.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Educational Psychologist.
• Experience in SEND and multi-agency working.
• Commitment to child and family centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological advice to schools and settings.
• Lead on consultation and early intervention.
• Collaborate with other services (e.g., Speech & Language Therapy).
• Support staff wellbeing and reflective practice sessions.
