Bedford Borough Council’s Educational Psychology Service is expanding under the Experts at Hand programme, seeking Educational Psychologists to support children, families and schools. The team collaborates with schools with high demand, offers supervision, and supports training and service development in a flexible hybrid setup.
We welcome newly qualified EPs, experienced EPs, or Associate EPs seeking flexible work.
Bedford Borough Educational Psychology Service is growing. As part of our ambitious Experts at Hand programme, we are expanding our team and looking for Educational Psychologists who want to make a meaningful difference to children, young people, families and schools. We are proud of the strong relationships we have built with our schools and the high level of demand for our service. 97% of our schools actively choose to buy additional Educational Psychology support because they value our work, our psychological approach and the impact we have on outcomes for children and young people. Alongside statutory responsibilities, our Educational Psychologists are actively involved in consultation, training, organisational development, research and strategic SEND projects. This creates opportunities to apply psychology at individual, group, systemic and strategic levels. Whether you are a newly qualified Educational Psychologist looking for a supportive environment in which to develop your practice, an experienced EP seeking a fresh challenge, or an Associate EP interested in flexible work opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
