Job summary

Oxford Natural Healthcare Professionals is seeking an Educational Psychologist to shape inclusive practice across schools in the Kirklees area. You will deliver high-quality educational psychology services, supporting pupils, families, school leaders, SENCOs, and staff teams.

Your remit includes consultation, assessment, training, intervention, and strategic development to strengthen inclusion and improve outcomes for children with SEND.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Educational Psychology (or equivalent accredited qualification).
  • BPS Accreditation: the doctorate course must be accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • HCPC registration is required.

  • Support the development of high-quality SEND and inclusion provision.
  • Build strong partnerships with Local Authorities, schools, academies, and professional networks.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Educational Psychologist to play a key role in shaping inclusive practice across schools in the Kirklees area. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure that every child, regardless of need, background, or starting point, receives an excellent education and the opportunity to thrive.

You will deliver high‑quality educational psychology services, supporting pupils, families, school leaders, SENCOs, and staff teams. Through consultation, assessment, training, intervention, and strategic development work, you will help strengthen inclusive culture and improve outcomes for children and young people, particularly those with SEND and additional vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with children, young people, families, and staff to improve outcomes.
  • Support the development of high‑quality SEND and inclusion provision.
  • Build strong partnerships with Local Authorities, schools, academies, and professional networks.
  • Contribute strategically to the ongoing development of inclusion provision.
  • Deliver training and professional development that builds capacity within schools.
  • Doctorate in Educational Psychology (or equivalent accredited qualification).
  • BPS Accreditation: The doctorate course must be accredited by the British Psychological Society, ensuring professional standards and eligibility for Chartered Educational Psychologist status.
  • HCPC registration.
