Applicants should be fully qualified Educational Psychologists as recognised by the HCPC, or current 3rd year Trainee Educational Psychologists.

About the Role

The Educational Psychology Service works in schools and other settings to support children and young people. Our work is summarised by our three key messages as:

  • working at an individual level, informed by psychological and therapeutic theories and practice.

The Service contributes to a wide range of local, regional and national initiatives, often on a multi-agency basis. We are a small, nurturing team in which everyone is encouraged to develop an area of special interest. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or a newly qualified Educational Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to apply psychology creatively and effectively to promote inclusion, wellbeing, learning, and positive outcomes for children, young people, families, and schools.
