Qualifications

  • Be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
  • Experience and knowledge of legal processes and relevant legislation relating to school attendance, children missing education and children not in full-time education.
  • Be able to demonstrate their understanding and application of guidance regarding school attendance, children missing education and children not in full-time education.
  • Have the ability to develop excellent working relationships with Schools, families and partner agencies
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Have demonstrable ability to provide support and challenge where needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support our traded attendance offer to schools and ensure duties around attendance are carried out effectively.
  • Collaborate with families, schools and partner agencies to promote suitable education for all young people.
  • Work within statutory frameworks to deliver attendance services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools and local partners.
  • Promote engagement and positive outcomes for children and young people.
