Job summary

Oasis Academy Lord's Hill in Southampton is seeking a committed Technology Technician to support our Art, Technology (3D-Design) and Food & Cookery curriculum.

You will assist teachers and students with technical needs, help set up equipment, and contribute to a safe, well-equipped learning environment. Training will be provided, and flexibility to work across academy areas is valued.

Qualifications

• Artistic, Design Technology or Cookery expertise.
• Good organisational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to be deployed in other areas of the Academy as required.
• Understanding of ICT systems, including the Office Suite.
• Ability to build good relationships with children and adults.
• Calm and adaptable in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and efficient technical assistance in Art, Technology (3D-Design) and Food & Cookery.
• Support teachers and students in use of equipment and ICT facilities.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of learning spaces and resources.
