Job summary

CHS South is seeking an Assistant Curriculum Leader for MFL in Manchester. The role combines classroom duties with supporting the Curriculum Leader to raise teaching standards, lead curriculum development, and deputise as required.

You will drive strategies to improve learning, progress and attainment, while motivating staff and contributing to department improvement. This full-time post starts January 2027 and offers an MPS-UPS salary with a £3,527 TLR.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Curriculum Leader for MFL to join our fantastic team at CHS South., Main purpose of the role:This is a middle leadership role. In addition to your classroom responsibilities, you will support the Curriculum Leader in raising standards of teaching, learning and achievement within MFL. You will deputise where required and take responsibility for agreed areas of curriculum development and team leadership.,

What you will bring to the role

The ideal candidate will have thorough subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum developments, good communication skills, and be able to plan and and develop appropriate learning activities.

Benefits and Pay
