Education Support Worker - Northampton

Are you seeking a permanent role as an Education Support Worker for this academic year? An SEMH school in Northampton is looking to appoint a full-time, permanent Education Support Worker starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be employed directly by the school with a salary ranging from £24,420 to £26,440 per annum.

The school is a small independent special school with class sizes of 2 to 5 pupils. The role involves providing individual support and supervision to pupils, encouraging engagement in learning, and working towards specific aims and objectives.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children and young people
• Interest in supporting pupils to overcome learning barriers
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and empathise with young people
• High motivation, commitment, and enthusiasm
• Good standard of education to Level 2, including GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in English and Maths
