Job summary

Community Care Live in Hampshire's Education and Inclusion Therapy Service invites a Speech and Language Therapist to assess and treat children and young people from early years to post-16. You will work with schools, families and other professionals to design meaningful support plans and deliver evidence-based therapy.

Role supports Hampshire Local Area Partnership's Experts at Hand and includes term-time hours with a salary broadly aligned to NHS Band 6.

Qualifications

• Qualified SLT registered with HCPC.
• Experience with children/young people in education, NHS or community settings.
• Strong governance, confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech and Language Therapy assessments and evidence-based interventions for children and young people.
• Collaborate with education staff, families and multi‑agency professionals to develop and implement support plans.
• Deliver SLT support as part of the Experts at Hand offer across educational settings and age groups.
• Support capacity-building in schools through consultation, training and whole‑school communication approaches.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement and policy development.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with standards.
• Travel across Hampshire to deliver services with caseloads in your geographical area.
