Job Title: Education Social Worker

Location: Wrexham

Working Hours: Full time, Hybrid

Rate: £41.58

Vitalis Social Care is currently recruiting an experienced Education Social Worker to join a busy team in Wrexham.

Responsibilities:

• Support the ESW team by working with families to improve attendance rates at school, reduce exclusions, and ensure safeguarding.
• This is a school-based role, not allowing hybrid working, and is term-time only (39 weeks per year).
• Work closely with pupils and senior school leadership, comply with Local Authority policies, and support schools with attendance issues.
• Challenge schools on attendance and exclusions, using creative and innovative approaches.
• Undertake court work and attend court regularly, in line with the Education Act s444.
