Job description

Are you working in education sales and looking to grow your career? Interested and experienced in Early Years? Want to work for a highly reputable education company on an exciting growth trajectory? This might be the role for you!

The company

Our client is an education technology company that has created a unique platform combining the world’s largest CPD and policy library with custom-built tools – developed in collaboration with thousands of schools and over 1,000 education experts.

They empower workforces to transform children’s lives. Their all-in-one platform helps schools, trusts and nurseries stay compliant, raise standards, and reduce staff workload –all through intuitive, powerful software.

If educators need it, they build it.

They have three business divisions:
  • Professional Development: Access the world’s largest CPD library for educators. Meet your statutory training requirements & raise standards with expert-led courses, webinars, podcasts & parent guides.
  • People Development: The complete online platform for people development. Put people at the heart of your school improvement strategy by linking appraisals and professional development. Streamline your entire appraisal process.
  • Compliance Management: Simplify and automate policy compliance. Eliminate the spreadsheets and make manual record-keeping a thing of the past with Policy Manager – our all-in-one policy management tool.
The role

Joining the sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving membership growth across the early years sector. You will introduce these solutions to prospective and existing customers, helping nursery schools and groups enhance professional development and educational outcomes.

Your primary focus will be to expand the company’s presence within the nursery market by identifying, engaging, and building relationships with key decision-makers across early years settings. Through targeted outbound prospecting and effective management of inbound enquiries, you will identify customer needs, understand the challenges they face, and qualify high-quality sales opportunities.

You will research target organisations and buyer personas, deliver a consultative sales approach, and guide prospects through the digital acquisition and sales journey. Working collaboratively with internal teams, you will maintain a healthy sales pipeline, convert opportunities into long-term customers, and help achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.

Day-to-day includes:
  • Proactively engage nursery schools and groups through personalised emails, cold calling, marketing campaigns, and other channels to introduce our membership offerings
  • Support and optimise digital sales activities for the nursery sector, working closely with Marketing on targeted campaigns for Early Years providers

  • Qualify and progress leads through the sales and digital pipeline, guiding prospects from initial enquiry to conversion
  • Build strong relationships with nursery owners, directors, and managers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot, ensuring customer interactions and pipeline activity are up to date
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Content teams by sharing customer insights to strengthen campaigns and messaging
  • Research and attend nursery conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to build relationships and generate new business opportunities

The company is passionate about helping organisations grow and thrive through knowledge and connection. As a Sales Executive for Early Years, you’ll join a company that values people, encourages personal development, and celebrates success.
