RecruitHer Consulting is partnering with a growing EdTech business to hire an Account Executive for the UK sales team in London. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, speaking with teachers, school leaders and Trust executives.
We are seeking someone who can build relationships, generate opportunities, run discovery calls and product demonstrations, and develop a strong pipeline across the UK. Comfortable with travel and face-to-face meetings.
We’re working with a growing international EdTech company that is expanding its UK sales team.
They’re looking for an Account Executive who enjoys building relationships, understanding what customers really need and turning good conversations into new business.
You’ll work with schools and Multi Academy Trusts across the UK, speaking with people ranging from teachers and school leaders to Trust executives and senior decision makers.
This is a full cycle sales role, so you’ll have ownership of your territory from prospecting through to closing.
You won’t be handed a rigid sales script. You’ll have support from an experienced commercial team, while also having the freedom to test ideas, learn what works and develop your own approach.
Some of the activities successful AEs in this role do:
We're encouraging you to apply if you have around two or more years of B2B sales experience within SaaS, software, technology or EdTech.
Experience selling into schools, Multi Academy Trusts or education would be useful, but it isn’t the only route into this role.
This is a great opportunity for you as long as you:
You don’t need to be an expert in a particular sales methodology. The team provides training but it's great if you have some understanding of structured sales methodologies.
If you meet most of the criteria but not every single point, we’d still encourage you to apply.
You’ll take time to understand the organisations you’re targeting, their priorities and the people involved in the buying decision.
You’ll know why an opportunity is progressing, what might stop it and what needs to happen next.
You’ll be commercially ambitious and motivated by your earning potential, while understanding that long term success in education sales comes from trust, credibility and strong relationships.
The role gives you the chance to build on your existing sales experience, take more ownership and develop into a stronger commercial professional.
OTE: Approximately £80,000
Commission: Uncapped
The £30,000 variable element represents expected earnings when you hit target. There’s no cap on commission if you exceed it.
The package also includes company benefits and opportunities to join international company events.
This is a London based role with five days a week in the office.
You’ll also spend time meeting customers, visiting schools and attending education events across the UK, typically around one day each week.
Some weeks may involve more travel depending on customer meetings and events.
You don’t need to tick every box to have a conversation with us.
If you’ve built a solid foundation in B2B sales and you’re ready for more ownership, stronger earning potential and the chance to develop your career within EdTech, we’d like to hear from you.
