Job summary

Tripod Partners is seeking an experienced Safeguarding Team Manager to provide operational leadership across a portfolio of education settings in Nottingham City. You will collaborate with schools, safeguarding partners and providers to strengthen safeguarding arrangements and ensure statutory responsibilities are met.

The role focuses on strategic leadership, multi-agency working, and driving continuous improvement of child protection and safeguarding practices within the education sector.

Qualifications

• Experienced safeguarding professional with strategic leadership and operational management skills.
• Strong ability to work in multi-agency settings and with education providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage safeguarding activity across Nottingham City education settings.
• Provide expert safeguarding advice to school leaders on statutory requirements.
• Oversee compliance with KCSIE and Working Together to Safeguard Children and local procedures.
• Monitor safeguarding performance and drive improvement plans.
• Deliver safeguarding training and guidance to partners.
