Belmont Recruitment are seeking an experienced Education Officer/Advisor to join Nottingham City Council's Virtual School Service on an initial 3-month temporary contract. You will support the educational progress and achievement of children in care, and work with schools, carers and social workers to improve attainment and engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a Virtual School as an Education Officer or Education Advisor.

Responsabilités

• Support the educational progress and achievement of children in care and previously looked-after children.
• Work with schools, carers, social workers and other professionals to improve attainment, attendance and engagement.
• Monitor attainment, progress, attendance and engagement and identify barriers to learning.
• Provide professional advice, practical support and constructive challenge to improve educational planning and outcomes.
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and equality of opportunity.
