Aspire People Limited is seeking a qualified Minibus Driver to support ALN/SEND pupil transport across Cardiff. The role involves safely transporting pupils to and from campuses, with potential shifts for school sporting events and educational activities.

You will be part of education transport services, building positive relationships with pupils and staff, and carrying out vehicle and journey checks. A D1 licence and MiDAS are essential, with safeguarding commitment prioritized.

Qualifications

• Category D1 Driving Licence – essential.
• MiDAS Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme – essential.
• Experience transporting or working with children or young people – desirable.
• Experience supporting ALN/SEND pupils – desirable.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
• Professional, reliable and responsible approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting ALN/SEND pupils to and from different campuses.
• Supporting daily school and college transport requirements.
• Providing transport for sporting events and activities when required.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils throughout journeys.
• Completing required vehicle and journey checks.
• Building positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff.
