Job summary

Ferndown Upper School is seeking a Mini Bus Driver on a casual contract to join our friendly team. The role focuses on after-school hours, providing safe transport for students to activities such as PE clubs, revision sessions and other events.

Experience with a minibus is preferred. You must hold a D1 category licence; MiDAS certification is required or a willingness to undertake training. Candidates should be reliable, calm under pressure and able to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students after school activities in the school minibus.
• Carry out safety checks, fuelling and cleaning of the minibus to required standards.
• Complete a logbook and driving records for each journey.
• Report any vehicle defects, damage or accidents immediately to the Business Manager or Site Manager.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and codes of practice to maintain a safe environment.
